About Grace Carpenter

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing a Bachelor's of Science degree in Human Development & Family Studies while earning a certificate in Education & Educational Services. I plan to utilize this education to pursue a career as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hope to work in both clinical and educational settings, serving individuals, couples, families, and children. I strongly believe that a healthy emotional well-being is essential to navigating all aspects of our lives, and that it is foundational to have optimal success in life. as I have learned through my academic and professional experiences. It is evident that the systems involved in our lives all directly and indirectly our mental health and well-being. I have gained the appreciation for learning and recognizing how the relationships we have with others impacts various aspects of our lives along with theirs. Therefore, I aspire to use my strength of emotional intelligence to help others cope with their emotions and mental health through promoting healthy relationships with those around them.
