After graduating with Upper Second-Class Honours degree in BA International Relations and Politics, I worked for a year as the elected Vice President Welfare & Community of the University of Lincoln Students' Union. As VPW&C, I embedded environmental campaigning within the union and successfully lobbied the university to become one of the first in the UK to declare a climate emergency. From 2019-2022, I worked at Students Organising for Sustainability UK (SOS-UK) managing sustainability engagement programmes and campaigns at educational institutions and other organisations around London and the south of the UK, as well as cross-cutting organisational priorities for national and international initiatives. As Principal Engagement Officer (Environment) at Westminster City Council, I now oversee and lead the development and implementation of community engagement and influencing initiatives for the City of Westminster’s Air Quality, Climate and Ecological Emergency programme.
