In our chapter each member has a minimum semester GPA that they need to meet, but individual circumstances may hinder that from happening, and it is my job to make sure that those members have the resources available so that they can be successful in the following semesters. I formulate individual academic plans with them and plan meetings throughout the semester so that I can be a resource for them. I also plan study rooms open to all members of the chapter to give them a space for them to be productive and work on any assignments they may have. Throughout this role I have learned to be someone other members of the chapter can rely on and someone to provide various resources so each member can be successful. • Met with 10+ members who fell below the GPA requirement to formulate academic plans and provide campus academic resources• Coordinated weekly study rooms throughout the campus open to each member of the chapter to provide a space for members to study and work on assignments• Collaborated with a team of 10+ other members to ensure that all other members had a pleasant experience within the chapter and were heard if they had concerns

Zeta Tau Alpha is a social sorority that holds leadership opportunities for its members along with raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. In my position I give information and ideas about what other organizations members of the chapter can join, as I struggled with filtering through the hundreds of organizations the university has to offer. With this position I've become stronger with presenting information in an effective manner, and supporting others who need help. • Ensure that each member optimizes her college experience by involvement in at least one other campus activity or club; encourage members to take on leadership positions in other organizations• Initiated weekly spotlighting of one student organization at chapter meetings to facilitate awareness and make it easier for members to select from 600+ organizations• Participated in philanthropy benefitting breast cancer awareness which raised over $20,000

During this internship, I was able to gain my first experiences working in an office and being able to apply what I've learned in my classes to the business. I learned how to collaborate with not only members of my team but with members in various teams across the company. I was able to strengthen my Excel skills and learn many more as my projects were based in the application. I got a lot of real-world experience that I will be able to apply in the future. • Built a comprehensive new product costing calculator that included expenses for assembly, fabrication, and materials • Created a dashboard that showcased inventory levels of wood, steel, and other commodities throughout the current and previous years• Updated inventory in Oracle daily and ran reports to communicate those updates to other members of the team
