About Grace Kim
Hi, my name is Grace Kim! I am a Junior studying Creative Writing with minors in Screenwriting and Entertainment Industry. Whether it'd be through movement or on the page, storytelling has always been my greatest passion, and my dream is to become a filmmaker who is unafraid to use her idiosyncrasies to tell personal and revealing, witty, and emotional stories about awkward and realistic characters interacting with each other. My favorite topics are temporality, love, childhood, and womanhood. My favorite genres are dark comedy and one woman shows. Most of my filmmaking and working experience comes from writing, directing, and in development through my time interning at MUSA Productions. I also have extensive copy and editing experience as Editor-in-Chief of USC's premiere student arts magazine Haute. My time in USC's Asian Pacific Cinema Association and Korean American Leaders in Hollywood has also fueled my passion in becoming a pioneering voice for Korean American stories. Recently, I've been working on my novella Korean Irvine Taxi Company and my film Memory Lab.
