During the 8 years at Starbucks Coffee Company I learned how to create an excellent customer experience, meet company standards in a corporate setting, and coach and empower my trainees and coworkers to meet and exceed company expectations. As a Shift Supervisor it was my responsibility to keep my store running smoothly while supervising up to 8 baristas. This includes maintaining store cleanliness to corporate expectations, delegation of daily tasks, ordering and receiving products and equipment, tracking equipment maintenance, counting and entering store inventory as well as cash management and deposits. I was the Store Lead of Facility Maintenance and Community Service and Outreach.

I worked directly with children from many different backgrounds who had behavioral problems and/or Autism. I was acting Shift Leader responsible for keeping my unit organized, running behavioral programming smoothly, and completing all necessary paperwork pertaining to my unit. This position required the ability to make judgments and decisions quickly, manage up to 8 coworkers and 15 children running psychological and behavioral programming, and delegation of cleaning and organizational tasks while keeping the welfare of the children as first priority.
