Grace Corbett is an artist who demands to be heard. When she’s not pursuing her career as a singer-songwriter, she is Grace Higginbotham, an avid listener seeking insight into why people feel the way they feel. Born in Los Angeles, California, she spent most of her childhood writing little lines and poems to help understand the ever-changing world around her. She launched herself into the music industry through internships, research, and work as a digital marketing assistant. As Grace became more serious about pursuing music professionally, she decided to create a separation between her personal and professional life while still maintaining the authenticity she is building her brand upon. Using her middle name as her stage name, Grace released a total of three singles to date created almost entirely independently. Despite all three songs being vastly different in sound, they all convey a common theme: a search for purpose. Grace, as both an artist and a person, believes that all people at all stages are attempting to find how their specific piece fits into the puzzle of life. She channels that belief into her mindset and drive as she pursues higher education at Skidmore College, learning more about herself and her interests each day.
