Researched Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) planning, Wildfire Hazard Zone (WHZ) codes, and related documents to propose code amendments for the City of Veneta. Collaborating with city staff and agency partners, I created a Wildfire Mitigation web page, planned a public education framework, conducted community outreach, and presented findings to the City Council.
