- Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations for two branches- Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.- Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries- Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.- Preparing and filling taxes form with the external auditor

• Supervise staff and students in my area of responsibility and to ensure that they adhere to Nursery’s policies and procedures. • Ensure the health, safety and well-being of all the children.• Build trusting relationships with all parents, taking appropriate and prompt action on any Concern’s raised and to encourage their active participation in the activities of the nursery.• Provide assistance to the effective induction for new members of staff following the guidelines and using the resources provided by the nursery; liaising with the Nursery Manager on performance and progress during the probationary period.• Keep and maintain up to date and accurate records and reports.• Ensure that staff maintain a safe and clean environment and to liaise with the Nursery Manager in connection with health and safety matters.• Ensure that the area is sufficiently stocked to cater for the needs of the children

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule. • Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures. • Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.• Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.• Assist with quarterly producer commission reports; analyzing and correcting discrepancies.• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.• Direct report to General Manager and Sales Representatives• Assist with financial and tax audits • Maintaining stock, inventories and costing • Follow up the import/export transactions • Multi-managerial tasks (Time Management, HR Tasks (formalities, vacations...) • Other projects as assigned • All under ISO 9001 standards.
