I got my first job was when I was 14, starting off as a dishwasher at the local pub. After a year I was trained into being a kitchen hand which lead to my vast knowledge and skills with working within a fast paced environment. With another year of working I was promoted into a management spot, still working back of house. My main task was running functions from the kitchen, managing everything from staff to food under supervision of the head chef. I kept this job while maintaining my other part time job at Falls Creek as a entry level snowboard instructor. I stayed in this role until I was 18 and felt like I’d finished my time in hospitality and decided to change up my industry. I was then employed at SEPHORA as a beauty advisor. Working at Sephora during the Christmas time taught me how to handle pressure and mass customer service all at once. While working on the floor I was also trained in stock and visual merchandising.
