Grace Murray is a Social Media and Digital Strategy major at Columbia College Chicago. She has experience in the industry and has prepared courses on promotional marketing and business marketing. She created her freelance business, By Grace Social Media Management, to help small and large businesses reach their full potential through the use of algorithms to boost their brand’s image on online platforms.Grace has gained professional marketing experience through various roles, such as a social media marketing intern and a digital marketing manager. During her time as a social media marketing manager at Sliced Chicago Charcuterie, she helped the brand accumulate over 3,000 followers on social media platforms. Her creative strategies and various video and photography shoots for seasonal products attracted a specific niche to this emerging brand. Another opportunity that helped grow her experience was working as a digital marketing manager for Imagine That Gift Boutique at two of their locations in Northern Michigan. She creatively advertised various in-store events and product collections that rotated through each location. Grace is now seeking a role that deals with creative advertising, marketing, and/or utilizing digital strategy for brands to better advertise themselves.
