Current• Curatorial support to borrowers across a range of disciplines i.e. healthcare settings, universities, libraries, listed buildings, exhibition spaces and government buildings• Collection management; proficient in TMS, e-museum, CRM • Liaising with conservators to determine the most effective treatment for objects, condition reporting and wider consideration of collection preservation/display processes• Collections Acquisitions Committee; working in-depth with a panel of curators… Show more • Curatorial support to borrowers across a range of disciplines i.e. healthcare settings, universities, libraries, listed buildings, exhibition spaces and government buildings• Collection management; proficient in TMS, e-museum, CRM • Liaising with conservators to determine the most effective treatment for objects, condition reporting and wider consideration of collection preservation/display processes• Collections Acquisitions Committee; working in-depth with a panel of curators, artists and arts professionals to survey the landscape of contemporary Irish art for potential acquisition• Artist liaison; working with artists to realise their work in often complex environments, developing highly specialised artwork specifications for future borrowers• Budget management; managing large sums, tendering processes and purchase orders • Operations and logistics; highly proficient in working on international shipments, transport and handling of artwork• Outreach and engagement; recently the collection worked with author Colm Tóibin to curate an exhibition of works from the collection which opened on Culture Night in VISUAL, Carlow - this project was in partnership with the Arts Council's Laureate program Show less
