Current-Manage the day-to-day operations of the instructional team. Responsible for weekly scheduling of classes for 200+ students and 30+ instructors, ensuring that schedules are optimized for instructional effectiveness, student needs, and efficient use of resources. Formulate and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions in the event of unforeseen circumstances.-Lead and mentor the instructional team, fostering a collaborative, positive work environment centered around student success. Observe and evaluate performance of 10 to 12 instructors, giving feedback and coaching to meet standards. Oversee continuing professional development program to ensure that all instructors are equipped to effectively deliver the curriculum. -Conduct ongoing reviews of policies and procedures. Communicate policy changes to staff, painting a clear picture of their role in achieving organizational goals. Encourage a company culture of transparency via straightforward and concise messaging.-Draft job descriptions and utilize effective interviewing techniques to select the most qualified instructor candidates. Coordinate and conduct onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees. Build morale and reduce turnover by implementing an employee recognition program and thoughtfully matching team members with opportunities for growth. -Successfully resolve conflicts among students and/or staff, utilizing strong interpersonal and conflict management skills to de-escalate challenging situations. Build rapport and promote intercultural awareness and sensitivity by prioritizing mutual respect and understanding among students and staff from diverse backgrounds. -Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders – including clients, other internal departments, government representatives, and international military allies – to ensure collaboration and open communication throughout the instructional delivery process.
