Managing and contributing to policy research and evaluations of publicly funded programmes. Clients include: Building Better Opportunities (BIG Lottery) programmes, universities and not-for-profit organisations.This role involved: writing research proposals; designing evaluation frameworks and research tools; conducting primary research with varied stakeholder groups; writing reports with appropriate recommendations; effective client liaison; delivering capacity-building workshops based on evaluation findings.

Policy lead for disabled students and postgraduate education and account manager for the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP). The role involved reviewing funding for postgraduate taught education and supporting disabled students; developing effective policy networks; relationship management with NCOP consortia, managing commissioned policy research and developing calls for funding.

Supporting Regional Consultants to manage relationships with a portfolio of higher education providers. The role required a broad knowledge of higher education policy and the maintenance of effective relationships with institutions. Alongside this I led on further education policy for my region, university's relationships with academies, UTCs and free schools and teacher training.

Coordinating the recruitment, training and ongoing support for approximately 1,000 student representatives.

Analysis of student and other data to inform strategic planning at the university. This included student and staff demographic data and student survey data. Project management of student surveys project to streamline the surveys being conducted with the student body.
