Worked as a customer service assistant in Marks and Spencer at Chieveley Moto service station, previously worked part-time out of term time; began full-time work from the start of August 2018. Working in a fast-paced environment, I have improved on skills in customer service, time management, teamwork, and cash handling.

This role involved organising, planning, and booking detailed, personalised travel itineraries and holidays for customers; carrying out the entire booking process, starting at the initial enquiry, researching and planning the trip, to booking all flights, accommodation, transfers, as well as any extras such as any activities or equipment hire. I gained a number of skills and experience, including speaking on the phone and over email to customers and tour operators of all levels. Carried out administrative tasks to support Senior Travel Consultants, including uploading and filing customer information in the office systems, including passport information, loading bookings to systems, setting up and running social media accounts, and office management such as answering phones, preparing quotes, receipts, and invoices, and taking payments. This role ended due to COVID-19.

Previously worked within the Phase Eight department at an independent department store, Camp Hopson. I worked as a Customer Service Assistant, working on tills handling cash and card transactions and refunds, I helped with unpacking stock, interacted with customers, and helped with paperwork when needed. I worked within a small team of 4, however, I was often left in charge of the shop floor by myself, which helped improve my confidence in my work. This job gave me experience in working with customers, working as a team, and working independently.
