I worked at MountainLoft Resort in Gatlinburg, Tennessee as the LEAD Intern for the summer of 2024. I did week long rotations in Food and Beverage, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Engineering. Ultimately, I chose to focus the rest of my internship in the Guest Services department in management training. Tasks included:- Checking Owners & Guests in/out of their vacations- Taking requests from guests about the resort, local area, engineering, & housekeeping- Departmental Communication -Housekeeping Reconciliation -Villa & Townhome assignments based on owner status, phase of booking, and requests - Auditing and Scheduling- Guest Reconciliation and even more lessons and tasks each and everyday. I gained a large amount of knowledge about timeshare property management as well as guest relations. I was able to demonstrate my ability to be personable, resilient, and determined. I grew in my ability to be independent, problem solve, and build relationships with team members!
