The most critical parts of who I am are Innovation, Service, Adventure, and Resiliency. I spent much of my childhood traveling around the country volunteering at fundraisers, and we found ways to come up with unconventional solutions to unconventional problems, and always found a way to make each event into an adventure. I remember as I got older I would always turn each task into a game, and often got others to join in too. The gamification and competitiveness of working not only made it more fun for those involved but also made us much more productive. And even if something didn’t go the way I wanted it to go, I could never let that bog me down, because I couldn’t let it influence my attitude toward the future. I believe that having a thick skin and a positive attitude is one of the best ways to approach life. It keeps life exciting like every day is new.
