Assisted senior, associate and interim pastors with daily tasks including scheduling appointments and answering telephone calls. Part of a capital campaign communications team that helped raise funds in order to build a new sanctuary. Coordinated the contracting and talent for an information video for campaign. Coordinated and created travel plans for pastors through internet reservations. Created letters and form letters still used by the church. Also created a filing system for the church and senior pastor’s documents.

Presented childcare provider trainings on early brain development and child development. Certified Brain Train (VOICES’ Birth to Five Initiative), Baby Talk, Winning Teams Facilitator, and Alabama Public Television trainer. Also had full head teacher responsibility for 12 preschoolers at a demonstration classroom where providers came and observed the class. Planned and executed activities every week for the children. This included developing lesson plans, leading daily group times, organizing field trips, developing bulletin boards and assisting with parent conferences. In addition to preschool responsibilities also worked in the resource library.
