Ms. Thompson founded Gaia Psychology and developed the concept of Ecoemotional Intelligence (EEQ). Ecoemotional Intelligence is the organic process of how our relationship to Nature influences our relationships with self, others, and our global community. Gaia Psychology students learn personal and social practices that enrich their personal lives, enhance their professional practices, and give them a sense of planetary belonging.Ms. Thompson is a dynamic administrator, marketer, and educator. She was an award-winning faculty member at Bryan University in Arkansas where she taught basic computer skills and 'Thought Patterns for a Successful Career' courses with foundations in cognitive psychology, social learning theory, and positive psychology.Ms. Thompson holds Bachelor’s degrees in both psychology and counseling/human services from Limestone College. She completed graduate studies in clinical psychology at The Citadel Graduate School, clinical counseling at Webster Graduate University and ecopsychology at the Institute for Global Education/Akamai University. She completed her graduate certificate in nonprofit administration and leadership at Walden University in 2018.
