With the covid pandemic impacting Global Agents' hotel revenue, I spearheaded a plan to maximise profitability by turning underutilized lobby areas into coworking spaces operated under the company's own brand ".andwork". I drew on my knowledge of hotel management and finance to construct models to analyse viability of potential hotel projects and advise on best strategy. The highlight was devising a new hotel brand and outlining a leasing proposal for a > $100Mil redevelopment project in central Tokyo, which I presented to CEO and developers.

I also managed the revenue of the 120-room hotel by effectively analysing competition hotel pricing and predicting future trends, consistently achieving an Average Daily Rate of 130-150% of targets. I achieved highest number of credit request approvals of all first-year recruits in Japan and oversaw the adjustment of 30 companies’ credit ratings in just 6 weeks to bring them in-line with new internal credit risk regulations (all entirely in Japanese).I also presented organised feedback of foreign employees to higher-ups in HR for the first time in the program's 7-year history, which directly motivated changes to the global recruitment scheme and foreign employee training programs.
