County Court is the major trial Court in Victoria, with a civil and criminal jurisdiction. In line with a commitment to the International Framework for Court Excellence, the Court had undergone major change in its digital strategy. This role contributed to the digital strategy roadmap of projects, as well as the introduction of an IT governance structure.

This role was charged with implementing an electronic case file and process automation solution to the Court's Civil Division. This involved significant change management, transitioning to a paperless system, while also facing the issue of linking with two aging legacy Court systems. This was successfully achieved within budget and to schedule.

The Senior Project Officer worked across projects originating from the Court's Strategic Plan. This included managing projects in the archiving space, project support to business users for IT enhancements and facilitating change management through training and developing communications.

The Project Coordinator role supported projects in the Court Excellence team. This included providing secretariat support for a major IT project, to introduce electronic document lodgement and a digital case file to the Criminal Division. In addition implementing a range of new initiatives such as a Judicial Wellbeing pilot program and Project Management.

Siemens Australia is the regional arm of the global multinational Siemens AG. The business globally acquired Invensys Rail and set-up a project management office to oversee the merger process, merging a 600-person business into the wider 2000 person business of Siemens Australia. The position of project coordinator oversaw the project management activities.

The EGRP project was a Public Private Partnership to design, build, finance and maintain a new prison (estimated $232 million capital cost). Senior Project Officer was responsible for overseeing the day to day project management, contract management and reporting activities.

Building Management and Works is the sector of WA’s Department of Treasury and Finance, responsible for the state’s major infrastructure projects. In two rotations with the department this position covered the Maintenance and Minor works area and the Strategic Projects directorate; the latter dealing with high value, high risk projects.
