After two years in London, I returned home to help build my sister's fashion business selling mass-market fashion on eBay. To improve workflow I developed a listing generator and inventory management, and instigated fortnightly release cycles; to drive sales I introduced cross-selling in listings, and MailChimp newsletters supported by a custom built newsletter generator.

Net-a-Porter is the largest luxury fashion e-commerce company in the world. I worked mostly on its menswear site mrporter.com, and was responsible for some significant upgrades including live chat integration, HTML5 and SVG sprites implementation. I also helped drive the company’s web development direction with active involvement in the CSS and JS working groups.

My role at Emu concentrated on developing client-side tools for the banking industry. I architected financial tools and calculators that modelled complex business logic for clients like ANZ and National Australia Bank. Flex was used with frameworks SWIZ and Cairngorm.

At Speedwell, I developed a data-driven interactive tool for helping users select a holiday destination for Tourism Queensland. For Domino's Pizza I developed a game portal with integrated user accounts, avatar chooser, leaderboard, game-play sharing features.

I worked on a wide range of Flash games, microsites, web apps, kiosk applications, and rich media ads during my three years at Visual Jazz. Here I gained a lot of experience in developing rich client-side applications and complex casual games - including AI, racing physics, particles & projectile physics. I worked on many projects for clients such as the Australian Defence Force, Holden, La Trobe University, Jenny Craig, Porter Davis and RAC.

I designed and developed websites and interactive tools for University schools and departments.

As part of a research team looking into experimental mobile interfaces, my role involved developing interface concepts, designing mock-ups and creating interactive prototypes.
