He is also a journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting and print where he worked in the Australian political sphere and edited a national triathlon magazine and until June 2013 broadcasted on Melbourne's JOY 94.9.Greg has also undertaken international consultancy work in capacity development, social inclusion and marginalised communities development. He worked in Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and China in 2009, New Zealand in 2010 and within Australia with a range of local organisations.Greg is a former Ironman triathlete and Ringwood Mayor, and recently concluded as a director of Family Planning Victoria where he chaired their audit, finance and quality committees and as a director of Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia, where he was CEO between June and October 2011.Greg built a huge following each Saturday at noon alongside his team Jodie Willmer, Linzi Kurileff and many other talented co-hosts and guests when he co-hosted the long-running “Detours” travel and tourism experiential programme on JOY 94.9. Podcasts of past shows are still available and the program proved so popular repeats still broadcast during the night at JOY 94.9. In addition Greg was a technical/line producer for Shannon Power's "Sha-Power Hour" (Saturday's at 5pm) and Pete Dillon and Serena Ryan's now rested program "Salt and Pepper" (Tuesday's at 11pm) and he mentored many other presenters/producers and teams at JOY 94.9.Greg is now involved in Breakout Radio and continues a long career in community broadcasting, radio and journalism.
