As the configuration manager at AeroMobile my key responsibilities are for the configuration of the hardware, software and documentation builds for the company. As a result I am the administrator for the development configuration Management software tool (AllChange) and for the Post Production/Quality Configuration Management software (Q-Pulse). My responsibilities also include chairing weekly CCB (Configuration Control Board) Meetings, Creation of software/hardware baselines, controlling the companies change control system, updating and creating Bill of Materials, single point of contact for documentation leaving the company and attend annual supplier audits IAW AS9100. Creating and controlling Bills of Materials, drawings and supplier work packs. Liaising with the configuration Management system over at Panasonic Avionics Corp over at Lake Forest USA

Producing documents IAW with a number of different styles, from project documentation DO-178D and 254 to Service Bulletins and Component Maintenance Manuals IAW ATA100/2200i along with creating/amending of graphics/illustrations where necessary.Being also responsible for all the technical documentation for the company, in regard to styles, format, templates, authorship and tracking of the documentation going out of the company.

As the documentation engineer at MJ Engineering, I wrote and compiled project documentation for various projects. This would entail liaising with software and hardware engineers to create such documents as Product Specifications, Software Requirements, Hardware Requirements etc, to Satisfy standard DO‑178D.

I produced CMMs, IPCs and SBs, both in PDF and XML and SGML formats IAW ATA100/2200i, AvP70 and various military specs. For Air to Air refuelling systems, Air Data Computers and Flight Recorders.General Manager which included the day to day running of the Waterlooville (Hampshire) office. This included introducing new methods of working, new areas of business for the company, submitting quotes to various customers and weekly meetings with the directors.

As Technical Author at Flight Refuelling my role involved producing MMs (Maintenance Manuals), Maintenance Instructions, Operation Manuals and IPC’s (Illustrated Parts Catalogues) for the 700 series Air Refuelling Pod, Aerial refueling Probes, Hose End Drogues, Hose Drum Units and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. This involved the production of new manuals and updating their legacy manuals to specification ATA100 and AvP70. To produce these documents in an accurate manner I regularly liaised with the project manager, and the relevant staff and departments.

As Technical Author I produced and Maintained the Service Bulletin, Component Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogues and Air Publications for Air Data Test Sets, Flight Data Recorders, Airspeed, Altitude Transducers and Air Data Computers to specifications ATA100 and AvP 70. This would involve liaising with the project managers and the relevant staff and departments. Attended the quarterly Post Design Service meetings with the MoD on behalf of technical publications for Penny & Giles. Later taking control of the outsourcing of the technical documentation for all of Penny and Giles.As Configuration Assistant at Penny & Giles my role I reported to the Design Services Manager. My role included updating the companies Bill of Materials (BoMs) for manufacturing and Engineering on the manufacturing computer, ensuring that full configuration control procedures was adhered to. I was controller of the Change control system, Change requests and change notes, maintaining precise and accurate data from various registers to produce informative graphical charts for the company’s management team. I would also chair the Change Control Board meeting on a weekly basis, producing and distributing the meeting minutes
