EPOS – Data Analyst, BWG FoodsMy job requires me primarily to increase the number of sales files being successfully processed from an IT perspective.Responsibilities include:• Monitoring the sales retrieved from stores on a daily basis in order to ensure a high rate of successful processing.• Communicate any issues that need investigation to the Vendor, with my results from my own investigation, if required.• Investigate sales issues as a request from Regional Managers.• While my role primarily regards sales I also wrote SQL Scripts/reports that:o Highlight issues with sales files returned regarding potentially incorrect prices.o Highlight issues with sales files returned but cannot make it through to the sales database due to errors.o Highlight orders sent in from the stores that could miss the cutoff deadline for processing.o Highlight orders sent in from Stores that were not processed due to technical issue.o Compare products from multiple ordering systems across store groups to ensure products could be ordered from each, i.e. From a Depot and a Retail File.o Create a report for Regional Managers showing the polling rate for their stores, o Investigate product setup regarding our Rewards program as products not appearing on system at store level.o Highlight stores that have not downloaded updated price files within a certain time frame.o Produced report or the business regarding orders placed with our new online ordering system for the group to monitor uptake, involving Excel pivot tables, charts.o Highlight communication statistics for our Reward Program.o Compare prices from different pricing structures across the group.o I created reports to analyse transaction level data across the group, i.e. What products were bought mostly when a customer bough the Irish Independent? Ranked by quantity/ Sales Value.
