This included reviewing FEED contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with project design basis, company design & safety standards, and industry standards, and acting as the Client (Shell/BGC) representative at P&ID & HAZOP reviews at the Contractor office.I designed a complex cooling water system, with associated heat exchangers & safety systems, and mercury removal facilities for the Linnorm HP/HT subsea tieback to Draugen. Project value approximately US$1bn.I have also carried out multiple conceptual studies on a range of facilities, including the Bende M'Bassou Early Production System, Koula Sand Management Study for Shell Gabon, extended recovery feasibility & concept selection for the Shearwater platform, and a study on plant turndown capability for the Gannet platform.

Attended HAZOP & Projectmeetings at Client premises, coordinated & approved technical responses to action points.Statoil/Aker Kvaerner Gjøa Project – Produced Water Treatment PackagesLead Process Engineer during design & manufacture of Hydrocyclone PWT packages. I ensured that the design met Statoil & Norsok requirements. Attended HAZOP & project meetings, and coordinated & approved technical responses to action points.

I joined WLGE as a graduate Process Engineer. During my time I gained experience in a number of aspects of process engineering, including: carrying out detailed plant sizing calculations for LPG storage & transportation (including sizing pumps, compressors, process lines, firewater deluge systems & relief valves); preparing & checking P&IDs, PFDs, and Heat & Mass Balances; evaluating vendor quotations; preparing commissioning & gas trials procedures & reports, and carrying out performance testing & evaluation of installed process plant. I was also responsible for co-ordinating correspondence with the Client, attending meetings with the Client, and I deputised for the Project Manager as & when required.
