Speaker, Writer, And Coach
CurrentBeing a mom is a huge part of who I am. My experiences with a traumatic birth, postpartum depression, anxiety, and PTSD have changed my life and my path. Simply waking up every morning with two growing humans looking to me for answers every day has seriously altered my life.It is part of what defines me.PART.I’m also a writer because I have always been a writer. It is how I enter the world and how I find out what I think about it.I’m a teacher and coach because I have always loved sharing my knowledge. (Ok, maybe there’s a bit of a control freak in there too…)I’m a speaker and a podcaster because I have a big mouth and a lot to say. Always have, always will. Ask my mom. (No, don’t do that. You don’t have that kind of time)I am passionate about helping those who mother to find and define all of the pieces of themselves - not only the parts defined by motherhood.There is no universal experience of motherhood, no hard and fast rules, no real way to know that we’re doing any of this right until after we’ve done it. For each of us, it’s different.
