This role is focused on managing the daily operations including Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Inventory Management.Key Accomplishments:- Implemented Fishbowl Inventory MRP system to improve our inventory track and trace to allow us to open the export market- Reduce cogs by xx%- Implement structural improvements to the operations team allowing better process flow and personal accountability- Increase daily production output by xx%- Develop operational metrics to track team performance- Optimize inventory levels both on-site and 3rd party distributors to minimize shorts and maximize inventory turns while reducing total holding costs.- implement new production lines and manage equipment installations.

This role had me overseeing the manufacturing and operations for the 3 companies - Boosh Foods, Beanfields Chips, and Pulse Kitchen. The 5 Brands that were managed at this time were Beanfields Chips, Boosh Plant Based Meals, Amuse Boosh, Pulse Kitchen Cheese, and Salt Spring Harvest Pates and Dips. During this short stint we managed to launch a Vegan GF Mac N Cheese with two flavors, rebrand and relaunch our Pates and Cheeses into the new Amuse Boosh line, grow the operational capacity of the Chill line by switching co-packers, acquired the Beanfields Chips brand and restarted its operations, as well as develop a costing structure for all products managed by the company in order to make better decisions around pricing and margins. Key Accomplishments For Beanfields:-Completed sourcing of a secondary packaging supplier to improve the Company's supply chain and avoid shipping delays. Resulted in costs savings of approximately 30% in packaging costs.-Optimization of SKUS to reduce production costs and focus resources on the Company's most profitable products.-Reduced number of spice ingredient suppliers from 5 to 2 for simplicity in production and approximately 7% cost savings on processes.- Modifying Ring production process to eliminate a major step in the manufacturing process and achieve approximately 25% cost savings.- Implement a simplified logistics plan with fewer freight forwarders providing improved relationships and projected cost savings with an estimated 10% savings.

Starting with a small team of 6 making less than 2000 cases per month, and grew into 24/7 operations running multiple product lines and producing over 50,000 cases per month. Grew the manufacturing Revenue from $200,000 / year to well over $14+ million.Work with R&D teams to develop and launch multiple new award winning products including Coconut Chips, Coconut Clusters, Sesame snack bars, Avocado, Almond and Cauliflower Crisps.
