Responsible for the day to day running of the East Coast Main Line operation at London King's Cross station. I had specific responsibility for leading the team of Train Dispatchers and Customer Service Team ensuring the highest standards. This included the safe, and on time dispatch of over 90 East Coast Trains a day. I was at the forefront of effective customer leadership during normal service and had operational responsibility for resource planning and event recovery during service disruption. I delivered the highest scores for service quality amongst all our stations on the route (+95%) through attention to detail and effective property management. I was the on the day lead for the East Coast 'Dry Trains' initiative to reduce the number of alcohol related incidents on board our trains and at our stations during major events in London.
