Specialist activities include Tariff Classification, Valuations, Rules of Origin, Legal Issues, andApplications for SARS Determinations. Of increasing importance for the Team and our clients is the SARS Dispute Resolution Process. It involves the IAA (Internal Dispute Resolution), ADR (Alternate Dispute Resolution) procedures, and Ligation Procedures. Assisting me in this role is a Team of dedicated Supervisors and Consultants for Trade & Compliance. I am also a member of the UTi African Customs Board. The Board informs Operations, Finance, Sales, the Client Retention Team and the Senior Executive of Trade & Compliance issues which affect the UTi Freight Forwarding Group and our Clients. Show less
