Following 38 years in the Automotive Industry with one short 2 year break looking after troubled teenagers in Care, I have finally found my Vocation!As an IPS Team Manager for Richmond Fellowship, working with the AWP Mental Health Trust, I am making a real difference to peoples lives, and not just selling them aspirational and/or cost effective pieces of engineering!I can now use my commercial and personal experience, along with a real world view of the workplace and how employers work, to improve the futures of people, who through no fault of their own have suffered Mental Health difficulties and wish to take up worthwhile and fulfilling jobs as a major part of their recovery.At last, I am proud of what I do for a living, and despite all the skills and experience I have built up over the years, the only one I need to list as a truly significant and important one is that 'I HELP PEOPLE!'
