Senior Systems Engineer & DeveloperWorking in a broadcast origination, transmission and media processing facility has afforded me access to a wide swath of technologies and hands on experience. The unique business requirements demanded engineering teams that could execute with deep domain knowledge at the cross sections of broadcast media processes and traditional IT services. I architected and developed many .NET stack Windows desktop apps with SQL back ends to support those needs. But I was also was required to configure and support many 3rd party media processing solutions and integrate our applications to their APIs to increase productivity, glue disparate systems together or create new services. I was involved in standing up and administering SQL Servers, Isilon NAS and Cloudian Object stores. I architected several AWS solutions and deployed with Terraform. I was called on to jump into secondary language projects in Java and Python for new functionality or support. Lots of fun.

At&T Digital Media Center

I was brought on board to the AT&T Digital Media Center (Now Comcast Media Center) primarily to develop custom Windows solutions and administer SQL 7 Servers for a variety of departments. One of the largest initiatives I took on was independently architecting, developing and supporting a full stack enterprise level multi-user trouble ticketing system. Built in VB6 with a SQL Server back end and deployed to multiple facilities.
