Since EC Harris became part of ARCADIS in November 2011 it has been a fantastic experience, working within a very ambitious and talented leadership team. Having connected across Europe and US, it was great to become involved in the development of the ARCADIS strategy for Asia in late 2012, to move to Hong Kong in 2013, to take on the role of Regional Leader for EC Harris Asia in 2014 and now to become a member of the ARCADIS Asia Leadership Team.

I joined EC Harris in 2005 to develop and lead EC Harris’ Public Sector consulting activity Group-wide. In this role I developed our approach to the Education, Health, Affordable Housing, Central Government, Local Government and Regeneration sectors, aligning our services to the specific needs of our clients and achieved market beating and sustained growth in turnover and margin.In 2010 I joined the UK & Ireland Board to lead client development activity across all sectors. In 2011 this remit was extended to cover Mainland Europe, and in 2012 joined the EC Harris Group Executive Leadership Team as Global Head of Client Solutions. In that role I had specific responsibility for key client relationships and strategic pursuits and was a non-executive member of EC Harris Middle East Regional Board.During 2013 I assisted the development of the ARCADIS strategy for Asia which was a hugely interesting and exciting exercise. I started to spend more time in Asia again, travelling to Hong Kong and Malaysia to validate the strategy and develop key client relationships. In the past I had spent several years living and working in South East Asia, and it felt like the time was right to relocate to the region again. As a family we moved to Hong Kong in August 2013, principally to develop our approach to major opportunities and key client relationships, and in January 2014 I took on the Regional CEO role for EC Harris as Alan Brookes returned to UK to lead that region.
