Retail sales, customer journey, service design and project management in the home furnishing industry. Worked for over 21 years with IKEA Canada from Ottawa to Vancouver to Toronto area. I started at IKEA while finishing college and decided to continue my path with them as our values aligned quite well. I have worked in all functions in store sales from department manager to sales manager.Currently leading the Service Experience Team. Designing services to enable our customers to have a truly happy and unique experience. I've worked years in stores leading sales teams. Prior to that I worked 5 years with the Canadian Expansion and Project group leading a team with my colleagues in designing and implementing new stores in the Canadian market, large expansion projects and country wide remodels for new platforms.Within this organization I have lead the Furniture Sales organization, been Project Liaison to several new stores and platforms and recently been Project Manager for several country initiatives.Now on to the next challenge with the Canadian organization. We are here to move IKEA closer to the customer and close the multi channel gap.
