Central PMO responsible for creation and implementation of PMO framework for company-wide transformation programme.

Responsible for project governance and ensuring best practice project management for cluster SAP deployments. Governance ensured through utilisation of ASAP and Prince II methodologies including Toll Gate phasing, plan creation/maintenance and RAID management.

Project planner for SAP deployments at RB. Involved in detailed planning, plan adherence and departmental reporting. As well as developing new tools to ensure accurate reporting and RAID management I worked across the department to ensure best practice planning and reporting for future deployments.

An intense 2 year program split into 3 unique placements that aims to develop the skills and expertise required to manage and improve the business at a high level.My first role was as a project engineer; working individually and as part of the team to improve equipment and infrastructure on plant. This included equipment validation, carbon emission reduction and, managing a £200K GMP project.I moved into a cross-functional and cross-site project management role focused on cost savings, continuous improvement and synchronizing best business practices within RB UK.And finished in a Maintenance team leader role in charge of a small team of engineers responsible for rescuing machine downtime through adherence and improvement of regular maintenance, production line overhauls and small CI projects.

Worked in industry to complete a Masters degree by doing a 6 month project with engineering consultants Xodus Group in London as a Process Engineer. My involvement was on numerous process and facilities projects allowing for a wide range of engineering experiences and contact with different areas of the business.My work centered around streamlining an internal business tool by accumulating and assessing data and developing techniques to facilitate early stage design. Outside of the work towards my thesis i aided with numerous other projects from legal mitigation work to vessel design and flare system review.

I developed key organisational skills working as the lone staff member during shifts in the bakery at a small Scotmid store. The job primarily involved the production and display of baked goods followed by a thorough cleaning schedule implemented to uphold governmental safety standards. All bakery employees had to undergo rigorous health and safety training due to the high risk nature of some of the products sold at the store.The efficient and flexible management of stock was a key aspect of the job requiring detailed understanding of seasonality, promotions and spending patterns. Stock orders and product line changes were initiated dependent on preceding sales figures which were monitored to provide the right products at the right volumes. All of which had to be meshed with the intense nature of the day to day work.

A work experience placement at a London law firm. A varied experience that including working in the office to assist solicitors with numerous cases to working at Crown and Magistrates courts in trials.I gained invaluable office management experience which enhanced my understanding of team dynamics and company/client relations. The time spent at the courts enabled me to further my time management skills and progressed my abilities to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.

Worked on the warehouse side of a large retail store and was involved with daily stock assessment, management and distribution. Working efficiently as part of a large team and smaller sub teams on different tasks and products on a daily basis was essential. Each shift could involve: lorry coordination and acceptance in line with legal requirements, stock disembarking, chilled/frozen food relocation, cleaning or customer assistance any of which could be in conjunction with other departments.
