Counseled owners and developers in all aspects of the design, development, and construction of residential, commercial and mixed-used real estate development projects (ranging in value from millions to hundreds of millions of dollars), from construction and design contract negotiation and administration, to day-to-day project risk mitigation, to disputes (including litigation in state and federal courts and alternative dispute resolution frameworks) involving construction defects, design defects, breach of contract, project delays, products liability, suretyship, insurance, construction liens, soft intellectual property issues, nuisance, air rights, and other development, construction, and design issues.

Counseled lenders and national financial services organizations regarding lender liability, loan foreclosure, consumer protection regulations, garnishee liability, title issues, and other risks attendant with loan instruments, trust agreements, insurance and title documents. Representative matters included defending banks and national financial services organizations in state and federal court actions alleging fraud, self-dealing, violations of various consumer protection statutes, wrongful foreclosure, slander of title, and the exclusive representation of an international financial institution in the garnishee context throughout Florida.

Researched labor and employment law issues, drafted legal memoranda and pleadings, prepared discovery-related documents and observed and assisted with legal proceedings, from mediations to collective bargaining negotiations.

Researched a variety of topics, ranging from ADA code compliance to valuing a Division I college football scholarship experience. Drafted memoranda, affidavits, and demands, among other documents. Assisted in witness interviews and client meetings.

Planned, organized, and taught upwards of twenty classes a week to students ranging in age from 4 to 16. Brainstormed advertising/marketing strategies for the school, and assisted in overall school management, including interviewing prospective employees and developing curriculum modifications. One of only two foreign teachers at a school that consistently increased enrollment throughout 2009/2010, with roughly 200 students as of July 2010.

Tracked and reconciled financial transactions involving 12,000 platted homesites within the Homestead Educational Facilities Benefit District (HEFBD), used by the HEFBD as part of the justification for funding a bond issue to build two schools in South Florida.

Assisted in the research and development of a novel skin care product, once the #1 selling skin care product in Sephora and the #1 product overall on Sephora.com. Experimented in the development laboratory, preparing formulations for microencapsulation and fluidized bed reaction chemistry. Worked with contract cosmetics manufacturers to produce product samples for clinical trials.
