This role focused on development of motor and drive systems. Key responsibilities included working closely with suppliers to source and develop motors meeting Dyson's demanding requirements, and the design and test of mechanical drive systems. The role encompassed a wide range of products and applications across all stages of development from initial design and specification through to test and validation, often working on multiple projects concurrently.

Worked on a group industrial project to design and build a system to automatically orient a mobile satellite dish. The system automatically finds the direction of maximum signal strength with high accuracy, from any location in Europe.
