Mission-driven entrepreneur, author and patented inventor with experience designing and deploying large consumer health platforms, systems of intelligence, and scalable STEM initiatives. I co-founded Sickweather, Shield Pals and SMGB Technologies; established the Autonomous Robotics Innovation Center (ARIC), Westminster Angel Network and Good Game Fest; and have served on boards and technical workgroups for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster), the Kennedy Krieger Institute, MDOT and NASA, as well as a mentor to Johns Hopkins University's Technology Ventures, NSF I-Corps and MedHacks programs. I have been a lecturer at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow Faculty of Travel Medicine, Kansas State University Department of Mathematics and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Frederick Innovative Technology Center Inc (FITCI), McDaniel College, Johns Hopkins University, and Mount Saint Mary's Palmieri Center for Entrepreneurship. I've also been honored as a "Social Innovation Rockstar" by Yoxi/BOLD, featured among Broadband for America's "Faces of Innovation" and recognized for building one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s “100 Brilliant Companies.” I am also a technology accelerator veteran as an alumni of Techstars, 500 Startups, and Plug And Play Tech Center.As a Vice President at TEDCO I lead the Venture Development team who are responsible for driving strategic collaborations, supporting entrepreneurial innovation and defining strategies to leverage networks and resources for innovative success. The department houses influential programs intentionally created to support entrepreneurial growth in the State of Maryland. As President of the PathCheck Foundation I oversee its open source initiatives to enable care coordination for vulnerable populations and inform the patient journey.
