Successfully completed studies for an MA in photography part-time with Falmouth University. Now practicing as a freelance Photographer having retired from my consulting, bioscience and data analytics activities. Accredited photographer with the British Fashion Council my focus is on general and fashion portraiture as well as event and environmental photography, I have a current presonal project under the working title 'Light, Dark and Colour'. Before retirement gained extensive experience managing R&D, both as a manager of a large bioscience support group and through direct experience and Divisional/functional representative on over twenty global drug development projects for a major global drug company (Wellcome Foundation Ltd., now part of GlaxoSmithKline). Facillitated teams based in UK, US, and Japan. Set up a bioanalysis laboratory in Kobe, 92/93. After leaving after their merger with Glaxo I took on a nm,ber of roles, including managing for the head of Pfizer IT (R&D Division) their Japanese clinical research and drug registration's transition through Y2K (1999-2000). Lliving and working in Japan for about a year for both Japanese projects. I later was the Chief Technology Officer and company director for a data analytics start-up for a number of years before going back to my bioscience roots as a research consultant in a small company i helped set up. As well as general research intelligence I helped to validate a number of clinical research strategies for a major global pahrmaceutical company.Master of Arts in Photography (Falmouth University) and Associate of The Royal Society of Chemistry. Chartered Chemist (Royal Society of Chemistry, UK) with Biological Science Honours degree (Biochemistry and Pharmacology) and Diploma in Management Studies (Henley Management College). Member of the British Computing Society. Specialties: Portrait, urban documentary and event photography.Thorough understanding of the varied needs of pharmaceutical development in all phases. Trained in project management, enjoys the challenge of making projects succeed. Good facilitation, leadership and motivation skills.Have a thorough understanding of the needs of business information systems and the analysis and presentation of complex business data. Experienced in the implementation of predictive and data visualisation tools to understand complex relational data and the design of soft measures. .
