Ethical Reading is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to making Reading a better place to live and work through helping organisations become more ethical. This includes everything from the decisions made at the very top to the way employees treat each other and the people they deal with day to day.We want to mobilise people and organisations across Reading to embed ethics into decision-making processes and everyday actions and kick-start an Ethical Cities movement in the UK and beyond.

Significantly improved the P2P processes, introduced eInvoicing, developed anddeployed Procurement strategy to improve spend management, visibilty and savings effectiveness of Procurement organisation.

Managing the strategic Indirect procurement spend of $600m and governance across EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa). In his role Graham develops regional supply chain strategies within the scope on Indirect Procurement, negotiating with senior regional leadership stakeholders to deliver cost effective processes to reduce cost of ownership by 4-7% year on year in commodities including; PC supply, Industrial goods, Marketing Events, Facilities, Office supplies, $113m of Temp Labour via a managed service provider. He has also managed an eProcurement change management programme throughout Motorola EMEA and the introduction of centralised Purchasing based in Poland and recently has lead the development of Supplier Diversity programme within the UK.As an active member of cross organisational best practice bodies such as MSDUK, Shared Services Round Table, Leaders in Procurement and the ARIBA user group Graham has participated, presented market intelligence and benchmarking findings with peer groups representing media, banking, food, pharma and health authorities.

Responsible for the Financial and operational management of $300m of manufacturing cost from 3 factories (UK, Dublin, Germany), a production purchasing department, IT systems implementation, integration of Bosch GMBH into Motorola, management of IT Help Desk. Within this role key achievements included: Deployment of global billing system.Management of the transition of the Purchasing function from UK to Berlin. Managed implementation of Oracle Purchasing 10.7 within Europe.Designed and managed Customer contract management tools & working practises to support in the successful bidding for major contacts using WEB based technology.
