 Proactively manage all existing branch business customers and new to bank customers whilst also managing a retail team of 8.  Manage the branches SME targets for 9 different products with an annual target of circa 2M for new lending across new money and F&L.  Ensure all credit policies, procedures and timelines are adhered to whilst writing credit applications.  Actively manage the branches NPS score for all SME products.  In charge of all branch daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly credit management to ensure procedures for all non-performing credit products are followed correctly.  Continuous training and upskilling of new and existing employees of the branch through presentations and onsite mentoring.  Assisted with the roll out of local market projects such as training business advisors with our new digital account opening and credit policy procedure updates.  Attend offsite events and meet with KBI’s to actively find new business for the bank  Extensive knowledge in business/ personal/ trust / executor & liquidator account opening.  Resolve delicate and complex complaints/ queries such as power of attorney ‘s executor accounts and bereavement support.  Continuous emphasis on referring business to other departments such as mortgages/ pensions, life cover, merchant services.  Recently represented AIB alongside Senior Managements during a meeting with the Central Bank in regards to Ulster bank and KBC leaving the Irish market, and how AIB would support prospective customers with the transition.

 Dealt with day-to-day cash lodgements and withdrawals.  Processed both Euro and FX payments.  Balanced and maintained ATM’s / Lodgement machines of the branch.  Liaised with dealers for FX transfers both incoming and outgoing on behalf of customers.  Commercial cashier for business lodgements and coin orders.  Dealt with personal customers for a wide range of banking queries such as account, opening, account maintenance, online banking, home insurance, credit enquiries, financial planning.  Processed personal credit applications.  Product champion for Customer financial planning, merchant services and home insurance referrals.

For three years I worked here as a Sales Assistant. After leaving college I was working full time for a brief period and was promoted to sales supervisor before leaving to progress my career at AIB.
