My role as part of Elekta's global IT leadership team is responsible for the global delivery of IT services and application support.Elekta has partnered with a single outsourcing vendor to deliver a global managed service solution. I have a small regionally deployed team working alongside the third party to ensure consistency of service delivery and to manage the introduction and transition of new end user services. Through a structured governance function I am responsible for the overall management of the third party vendor and internal delivery teams, defining and driving global processes and policies that will maximize the benefits and efficiencies of a hybrid IT operations support model. During my time in this role I have successfully increased the scope of the service delivery function to include Elekta's Asia Pacific region and as a result have a global service delivery model that encompasses Elekta’s entire growing environment. Elekta's acquisition strategy has resulted in a number of end user support migration projects, transitioning the acquired organizations into Elekta's global support model. The geographic spread and inherited company cultures have brought their own challenges, but all acquisitions to date have been successfully integrated into Elekta's global support model. In addition to my Services role I am responsible for the management and governance of Elekta's change management function, ensuring that the relevant disciplines within Elekta's IT function are aware of the significance of and are adhering to its global change management policies.

As part of Elekta's global IT management team I was responsible for preparing the North American organization to transition from local internal IT support solutions into a global outsourced managed services solution.The managed services agreement covered Service operations management, Infrastructure management and change management.

In addition to my global data management function, I have assumed responsibility Elekta's desktop services function in the North America.

As part of the IT Architecture and Governance function, I am responsible for the definition and deployment of global data and information management standards.

Responsible for ensuring that the correct infrastructure was in place to support the companies Enterprise Systems in a manner that continued to meet the requirements of the user community.To improve business processes and support critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the companies Enterprise Systems.

To assist in the selection, implementation, support and progression of JBA’s (now GEAC's) System21 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package.This role included the management of the external suppliers who contributed to the entire GEAC solution, and the administration / maintenance of the IBM AS/400 which hosted System21. I was responsible for ensuring that System21 met the needs of the Elekta business.A large part of my role included the management of improvement projects within the department. This required that projects were fully documented in accordance with the company quality manual.
