At Caldwell-Baker Company, I supervised and managed all sales, marketing functions, and railcar fleet; including maintenance and repair and allocation of budgets. As a Vice President, I oversaw all departments and personnel of the business. I planned and executed best practices and procedures to effectively manage lease agreements, customer service, and maintenance of equipment; as well as, acquisitions of purchase or sale of rolling stock.Some of my key contributions are as follow:•Increased fleet utilization from 60% to 99% by focusing on emerging markets and strengthening existing relationships. •Negotiated and finalized lease contracts, freight rates, shop contract rates, storage rates, and parts purchase.•Achieved over $25K per car average in revenue by negotiating and securing contracts totaling over 25M in revenue.•Championed hiring and onboarding procedures and increased 1099 worker’s satisfaction, retention, and production.

During this tenure, I developed and implemented a new operating branch of the company with railcar repair and cleaning. I led all operations and took appropriate initiatives to determine and overcome challenges to enter new market space. Additionally, I obtained new offers for railcar leases by negotiating specific lease terms that increased fleet revenue averages significantly. Some of my key contributions are as follow:•Defined, developed, and implemented maintenance and repair operations that targeted enhancing efficiency and revenue growth.•Reduced overall company equipment maintenance expenses by 31% which increased overall company profit margins by 10%. •Created a brand-new revenue stream by establishing this railcar repair and cleaning division, contributing up to an additional $700K yearly.

I ensured smooth running of functions by executing administrative duties as well as expertly managed railroad disputes and rule changes through due diligence.Some of my key contributions are as follow:• Analyzed fleet management operations to better understand private fleet management and customer service.• Produced detailed reports pertaining to equipment health, maintenance records, repairs, and car movement.
