As part of maintaining quality control in the distillation process, I ensure that raw products and spirits are stored in adherence to established standards. I conduct daily mass balance calculations for both column and Potstill distillation, contributing to the consistent production of safe, high-quality products. Collaborating closely with Process Controllers, I assist with autonomous maintenance tasks and escalate any production issues to the maintenance team when necessary. I support the distillation technologist by preparing weekly reports, ensuring accurate documentation of processes and outcomes. Additionally, I work with onsite lab personnel to analyze product and incoming wine samples, playing a key role in quality assurance. I also prepare samples and actively participate in weekly tasting panels to evaluate the quality of spirits and brandy, ensuring they meet the required standards.
