o Custodian of the High pressure Piping, Super heater headers, thick wall components feed water piping, all Boiler FAC (flow accelerated corrosion) pipe lines, spray water stations and attemperators(De-super heaters), Boiler internals and Steam drums for the x8 200MW Camden power generating Units. o Compilation of inspection and replacement SOW’s on the High Pressure Piping system as well as the o Monitor creep damage by means of replication, strain gauging, and NDT. Plan for these inspections taking into account the outage schedule as well as the integrity of the components. o Plan for replacements by means of material availability, review of method statements, designs and assist in planning and execution of the piping replacements.o Critical boiler valveso Initiation and execution of projects for continuous plant improvement and reliability.o Calculation and monitoring of the Thermal index to pro long and protect the life of the super heater headers from thermal excursions.o Compilation/review of maintenance strategies and RBI (reliability based improvement) documents.o Tube leak identification, consequential damage evaluation, issuing of cutting instruction, challenging/review of tube leak repair program.o Identification of Boiler tube leak mechanismso Tube leak reduction plan o Initiating and chairing of dominant boiler tube failure mechanism task teams. o Project initiation, design review, execution and assisting in project management.o Analyze and validate results, reports, findings, tests and research.o Lead investigations, initiate corrective actions taking into account the integrated effect of plant reliability, availability, maintainability and system interface.o Evaluate the technical and financial viability of proposed projects considering the available budget and the LOPP(Life of plant plan)o Perform technical evaluations on tenders and chair tender clarification meetings.
