About Grant Davis
I am currently a Business Analytics Consultant at PNC Bank in their Analytical Consulting Division. Within my current role I help design, execute, and analyze statistical test results for our internal business partners. These analyses range from simple metric lift analysis to more advanced statistical forecasting methods such as Time Series, Spatial, Linear, Mixed Effects, and other Modeling. My work is conducted in R, SAE/SAS, Teradata, Hadoop, and SQL. All of which I have advanced proficiency in. Before starting my current position, I studied at the University of Cincinnati, pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Economics. Within my master's program, I focused on learning Spatial, Time Series, and Panel Data Econometric Analysis. Other relevant courses are Game Theory, Competition & Regulation, Data Visualization, and Economic Data Analysis. During my master's I was also a graduate assistant for two economics-based courses in which I facilitated most of the course concurrent with my own course work. Prior to graduate school, I received an undergraduate degree in Business Economics from the University of Cincinnati Carl. H Lindner College of Business. During my undergraduate time, I interned for Germane Solutions, which is a leading academic medicine consulting firm, focused on increasing the overall success of residency and fellowship programs in hospitals. Additionally, I was the Head Teaching Assistant for a Business Foundations class, in which I ensured the success of 144 students and managed five other Teaching Assistants.
