In June 2017 I took up the role of Pricing Specialist with Pick ‘n Pay, in their Trade Optimisation Division. My responsibilities are to provide analysis and insights into Pick ‘n Pay’s price position. I have also been responsible for improving the data quality and analytical systems in Pick ‘n Pay, and to improve the efficiency and quality of the analysis conducted. My responsibilities include: -Developing and implementing a program to improve the quality and reliability of Pick ‘n Pay’s price data.-Liaising with Pick ‘n Pay’s price data suppliers, with regard to their quality assurance procedures and quality of data received -Conducting analysis and providing insight to the business with regards to Pick ‘n Pay’s price position
