I was approached by the outgoing CEO via The Lifewise Board to take on the Acting CEO role prior to the appointment of a new CEO.This involved being responsible for:• Overall leadership, performance and management of The Lifewise Trust• Overall financial performance of The Lifewise Trust• Reporting to The Lifewise Trust Board• Maintaining external relationships during transition period• Onboarding new CEOAchievements• Leading organisation through initial Level 4 Covid 19 lockdown with no positive staff or client cases• Working with Senior Leadership, MSD and HUD to set up Covid 19 Motel emergency housing response for Auckland CBD rough sleeping community• Overseeing formation and implementation of successful Covid 19 Pandemic Response plan• Reporting to The Lifewise Board during pandemic response

This role required me to lead 3 community based rehabilitation sites in Whangarei, West Auckland and South Auckland. The clients were living with moderate to severe brain injuries:The key areas of responsibility in this role were:• Leading risk management for a highly complex and unpredictable client group in a community residential setting, while providing a high quality rehabilitation service• Leading a change management process• Preparing 3 sites for external audits• Enhancing internal and external relationships • Leading cultural change• Complaints managementAchievements• Improved risk management awareness, processes, and learning post adverse events• Successful implementation of new structure at all sites• All three sites passed external audits• Improved occupancy rates• High staff engagement survey results post restructure
