As a Business Intelligence Engineer on the Operations Engineering team for Falcon Production:-Designed Power BI landing page for the whole Production workspace-Developed Python script to detect daily blockers in tube production-Helped reorganize SQL Server stored procedure execution schedule for greater visibility into dependencies as well as to reduce query failures and execution times-Created new Power BI dashboards for Production groups and added new visual features to existing dashboards

Part of a project team consisting of one IBM fellow, one IBM senior data scientist, and six Berkeley undergrads; our project is focused on the impact of climate change on mangrove forests. Leading three phases for the global mangrove data: (1) data exploration and cleaning, (2) building a project-specific database, and (3) prototyping a front-end mock up for users to interact with the database. Winner of the Data Science Discovery Program's Team Collaboration Award for the work done on this project.

Designed, implemented, and reworked data models, pipelines, and visualizations to improve platform modularity for the Business Intelligence (BI) team at HBO Max (now Max).-Developed SQL view that returns subscriber viewership data for movies that premiered simultaneously on Max and in theaters-Scheduled and monitored data pipelines using Airflow-Discovered reason for bugs and recommended fixes for 10,000 null entries in a user subscription SQL view-Migrated SQL logic from Looker to dbt for several existing data models

Selected by Goodly Labs to implement game-like mechanics to Public Editor to increase user engagement. Designed interactive leaderboard data visualizations for a Public Editor web page and wrote complex SQL queries into MySQL to retrieve desired leaderboard data. Public Editor is a Nobel-Laureate (Saul Perlmutter) led online review system that allows the public to label and correct the misinformation and biases in news articles, and share their results.

Reinforced course material and answered student questions in a lab section consisting of 50 students. Member of the Data 8 course staff for the Fall 2020 semester (as a Lab Assistant) and Spring 2021 semester (as an Academic Intern).

Developed California housing predictive model based on U.S. census and geographical data. This project was developed on DeepNote using Python as well as the Scikit-learn and Pandas libraries.

Researched and wrote white paper on the uses of marine sensors for FRED (Floating Robot for Eliminating Debris). FRED is a semi-autonomous catamaran powered by wind and sun to be used to clean ocean plastic pollution, and as a data platform for research. White paper published at www.clearbluesea.org and incorporated into Clear Blue Sea’s bootcamp materials.

Selected by UCSD for Mentorship Program to work on Climate Change research project at Scripps Institution of Oceanography with Senior Engineer, Tony DePaolo. Used patterns in data from wave-sensing buoys to predict future hurricanes before their peak. Data from past buoy deployments was visualized using MATLAB. Findings presented at a UCSD Symposium on June 1, 2018.
