As a volunteer firefighter with the local semi-rural brigade, I take on the role of Community Engagement Coordinator, where I help spread vital fire safety knowledge to residents. This role allows me to contribute to the safety and well-being of my community, which is a responsibility I hold dear.Additionally, I serve on a subcommittee for emergency management planning with the local council, helping to develop strategies and frameworks to ensure our community is prepared for emergencies.My dedication to duty and service is rooted in my first career as a soldier in the defence force, where I learned the values of discipline, resilience, and teamwork.
