Grant David is an Arizona State University cum laude graduate who received his bachelor’s degree in film studies, specializing in writing and directing. During his term at the university, he excelled in all courses and was consistently placed on the Dean's List.Grant has worked as a staff writer for both Static Multimedia and the TBP Network where he crafted editorials, commentaries, and reviews which interpreted events and offered opinions about the state of the hip-hop landscape. He also conducted interviews with some of the genre’s most prominent and prolific artists including Jedi Mind Tricks, Planet Asia, DJ Statik Selektah and David Banner. Select articles written by Grant were picked up by Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles Magazine (Canada) and New Musical Express Magazine (Europe).Grant also served as the Creative Director at My Main Man Pat, an international hip-hop inspired clothing company, where he implemented new and innovative marketing campaigns and brokered collaborations with legendary hip-hop figures such as Prince Paul, Kool Keith, and MF DOOM. He currently lives in Denver, Colorado and works as a Senior Market Manager for The Duck Company. In his free time, Grant enjoys exercise, yoga, hiking, and meditation while he maintains to be a viable member in both the film and hip-hop communities and continues to develop his own artistic endeavors.
